Wholesale Post
Birmingham City Council has a Downstream Access Condition 9
agreement with Royal Mail Wholesale. We
process outgoing mail and deliver the mail items into the appropriate Royal
Mail inbound mail centres. We are the
only local authority to have such an agreement.
Since January 2009, BCC achieved gross savings of £500k p.a.
Service is available to other public and private sector
organisations to enable them to also benefit from reduced postage costs.
