Faith Boardman

Faith Boardman began her career as a senior Policy Civil Servant in the Treasury and Tax Departments, working on fiscal and economic policy. After a spell as the Head of HR for Customs and Excise, she moved into operational leadership, specialising in “turning-around” organisations with serious problems; and designing and leading large “change programmes”. She was the Chief Executive of the London Region of Customs and Excise, the (national insurance) Contributions Agency, the Child Support Agency and the London Borough of Lambeth (and delivered efficiency improvements of between 30-100% in all four organisations). She was part of the DWP Board team which oversaw that Department’s overall Modernisation, shared services and “New Deal” programmes. She is now an experienced consultant and non-Executive, and the Development Director of the PMPA.
