Sharon Jones

Sharon has worked in benefits for all of her working life and as a Housing and Council Tax Benefits Manager for over 23 years. In the face of ever changing Benefits legislation she has managed a number of projects to successfully implement new systems, processes and legislative requirements.

Sharon has worked as a manager for both Breckland Council and St Edmundsbury Borough Council, obtaining good performance and winning several awards, whilst managing the successful implantation of Document imaging Systems, and various conversions.

Sharon was one of the management team that founded the original Anglia Revenues Partnership (arp) in 2002, the first public – public revenues and benefits partnership at that time. She  has been the Head of Service for the arp Since October 2009, and expanded the partnership to include a 4^th partner from April 2011.  She is part of the successful beacon winning team and visited Serbia. Bosnia and Herzegovinian as one of a team to help advise on the creation of partnerships for how to create partnerships within local government.
