Vic Allison

Vic Allison MBE, BA (Hons), CPFA

Vic joined Wychavon District Council in 2006 and is now Deputy Managing Director. He has specific responsibility for Finance, IT, Personnel, Customer Services, Engineering, Property and Corporate Projects. He has led on Wychavon’s ambitious shared services programme which now includes:

-Revenues and Benefits

-Building Control

-ICT

-Regulatory Services (Environmental Health and Licensing)
-Internal Audit
-Personnel and Payroll

He started his career in local government in 1989 as Trainee Accountant with Stratford-on-Avon District Council, qualifying with CIPFA in 1992. He has also worked at Leicester City Council and West Oxfordshire District Council.

Vic was awarded an MBE in 2008 in recognition of the work he did in leading Wychavon’s response to the 2007 floods. He sits on CIPFA’s Financial Management Panel.
